We are the Clan Donnachaidh\u00a0Society of the Rocky Mounatins<\/strong>.\u00a0 We encourage anyone to participate in the celebration of our Scottish heritage.\u00a0 We find the more you get involved and participate in our events and committees, the more enjoyment and fun you will have.<\/p>\n Who is eligible for Society Membership?<\/strong><\/p>\n Although we like to have our members be ancestrally connected to the clan, our International By-Laws state membership \u201cshall be open to any person interested in its objects, subject to his or her paying the annual or other subscription due.\u00a0 The Society particularly espouses those\u00a0 person who by birth, marriage, or adoption bear the name of Duncan, Reid and Robertson and the names of other accepted septs of the Clan Donnachaidh\u201d. <\/em><\/p>\n We in SRM usually have current members sponsor an applicant\u2019s membership. We encourage you to spend time with us, come to some of our gatherings so people get to know you and you get to know us. \u00a0Membership is applied to any individual that is of 21 years of age and\/or a family membership for families (mother, father, and children) with children under the age of 21.<\/p>\n Do I have to prove my ancestry to be a member of a particular Clan?<\/strong><\/p>\n The Society of the Rocky Mountains does not require \u201cproof\u201d of ancestry although we encourage our members to trace their heritage because it is fun to do and share with each other.<\/p>\n Membership fees:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Local Society\u00a0Membership Dues:\u00a0 (Individual or Family)\u00a0$30<\/p>\n Local and International Dues:\u00a0(Individual)\u00a0 $55\u00a0 (Family) $65<\/p>\n You have a choice of local Society\u00a0membership or dual membership with International.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n What do my membership fees pay for?\u00a0 What do I get with membership?<\/strong><\/p>\n Local Membership fees go to paying for the\u00a04 major festival\/game booths annaully; for sponsorship of Colorado Tartan Day;\u00a0to receive\u00a0Society newsletters; a membership card and\u00a0voting privileges.\u00a0 International fees go to support the Clan Museum and projects; to receive a copy of\u00a0the International Clan Annual; membership card, and voting privileges.<\/p>\n MEMBERSHIP FORM\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/a>and mailing it to us.<\/strong><\/p>\n Pictures on the website…<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\nJoin Us or Renew your membership by downloading the<\/strong><\/h4>\n

By joining Clan Donnachaidh Society you may find yourself in a picture (we love to take pictures) and it may be posted on our website.
